Tathra Place Farm Stay is a 100 acre property just outside the township of Taralga, New South Wales (approximately 2.5hrs from Sydney) We run laying hens, two breeds of meat birds, peking duck, Saddleback pigs and cows all free range on pasture.
Our property is completely spray free and we do not use chemicals based on Joel Salatin's farming practices.
We hope that we can offer families the opportunity to build a relationship with us, enjoy farm life and see the amazing lives our animals live.

You can pitch your tent near our one of our four dams. You are also free to camp anywhere on our 110 acre property, near the free range chicken pods, near the pigs, near one of our 4 dams, or near the creek... sleep under the stars and wake up to the sights and sounds of wildlife and our animals.
Due to our ethical farming practices we do not allow smoking and please respect our animals.
We are a working farm so please be careful during your stay
- Don't touch electric fences
- Watch out for snakes and
- Close gates behind you (so the cows don't go on the road)
Guests must cancel 24 hours before check-in at the latest and is then entitled to a full refund of total tariff.
