This document sets out the Terms and Conditions you need to be aware of when using this website. Please take a moment to read them, as they set out your important rights and obligations and we care about making sure that you know where you stand. When you visit this website, use our services or purchase our products, you agree that you are over the age of 18 and willing to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you don’t accept this agreement, you should not continue to visit this website or purchase from us.
All products and services advertised on this website are offered in compliance with Australian Consumer Law.
Rewildin is a booking website, that promotes listings and facilitates booking payments between Guests and Hosts for experiences in nature. Rewildin collects the full booking fee from each Guest and then pays the Host (minus Rewildin fees) approximately 24 hours after the Guest’s check in.
On our website, you will find listings for:
- Private camping;
- Eco-lodges; and
- Earth skills workshops.
We also offer a variety information to help you work out which options are best for you, including:
- Descriptions of sites;
- Booking calendars;
- Photos / videos;
- Google maps; and
We hope that this information will assist you in finding entertaining and enjoyable nature experiences.
Our communications may contain information, advice, and education about safety in the Australian bush and descriptions of beautiful places to visit. All the advice given on this website is general in nature and may or may not suit your requirements, conditions and circumstances. It is very important that you do your own research before exploring and travelling in Australia. When you book through Rewildin, you agree to indemnify us from any responsibility in the event of a dangerous situation or accident not explicitly caused by our personal negligence.
Rewildin does not own or manage the properties, campsites or workshops listed on the website. As a result, we cannot guarantee that all information provided in the listings are accurate. As a Guest, you are responsible for directly contacting the Host using Messages in the Rewildin platform to ensure that their offer meets your needs.
Rewildin is not obliged to review every listing and new account to ensure that they are compliant with our terms and conditions. However, we reserve the right to decline or delete listings and accounts that breach our terms and conditions at any time. If you notice a listing or an account that does not comply with our guidelines, please do us a favour and let us know at [email protected].
Rewildin is not responsible for any actions taken by Hosts, Guests or anyone using the Rewildin platform.
You can cancel your account with Rewildin at any time by contacting us at [email protected]. In the near future, you will be able to cancel your account by clicking on “Cancel My Account” on the Dashboard.
Rewildin reserves the right to terminate an account if the content being posted is offensive, inappropriate, discriminatory or potentially harmful to Rewildin or the users of the Rewildin platform. In such case an email may be sent notifying you of the reasons for terminating your account.
When you register for an account with us, you guarantee that you are a real person with a genuine interest in our services. The creation of false or fraudulent accounts is strictly forbidden.
You take full responsibility for any material that you upload to our database, and must not upload anything that is against the law. This includes any material that infringes intellectual property laws, is defamatory, offensive or portrays criminal activities or behaviour.
You do not have permission to use or distribute elements of our branding such as our company name or logo for any purpose. Content on our website may be shared via social media but you must provide a link back to this site.
Guests are required to create and log in to an account before they can place a booking.
Guests must leave the property at or before check-out time.
Guests must not contact a Host for any reason other than to make enquiries about accommodation or workshops listed by that Host. Please refer to the Communication section of these Terms and Conditions for further information.
It is the Host’s responsibility to ensure that their property or workshop complies with all local Council and State government regulations before listing on Rewildin.
As a Host, you agree that it is your responsibility to inform yourself about and make arrangements for appropriate and adequate insurance cover for any accommodation, activities or workshops that you list. Please make sure that you fully understand the product disclosure statement for your insurance policy, including what is covered, any restrictions and any limitations your insurance may be subject to. We strongly recommend that you seek independent professional advice to ensure that you are fully covered in respect of your listed premises and all relevant activities.
Hosts must not decline a booking based on any issue of race, ethnicity, origin, disability, age, gender, marital status, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation or religion.
Hosts agree to take full responsibility for all consequences arising from double-booking and indemnifies Rewildin against any loss or damage suffered by any other person as a result of the double-booking.
It is the Host’s responsibility to ensure that all listings and descriptions are accurate. You must not under any circumstances create a listing for accommodation or a workshop that is fictitious, contains any false information or for which you do not have direct control and responsibility.
Hosts who have confirmed a booking must fulfil that obligation by making sure the relevant booking / camping spot / accommodation / workshop is available or by conducting the workshop.
Rewildin reserves the right to refuse to publish a submitted listing without explanation. The most common reason for refusal is that the listing does not match our standards, and in particular that the listing does not emphasise a connection with nature as required by our standards.
Rewildin may cancel a confirmed booking if the circumstances are such that this action is, in Rewildin’s opinion, beneficial or safer to the Host, the Guest, Rewildin or any combination of those.
It is a condition of using this service that Hosts and Guests communicate exclusively through the Rewildin Platform when arranging a booking.
Do not share any contact information through Messages in the Rewildin platform. This information may only be shared after payment and confirmation of booking, or after check-in. Rewildin will provide the Guest with the physical address of the Host, after the Host confirms the booking and the Guest has completed the payment process.
All Rewildin bookings must be entered in the Rewildin Platform.
Hosts will be notified via email of booking requests by Guests to their property, and can either approve or decline a booking Request. Until the booking is approved or declined by the Host, the booking slot is locked and is not available to other Guests. It is in Rewildin’s and in the host’s interest that the host replies to their requests as soon as possible.
- Camping / Accommodation Host Fee: The Host agrees to pay a Camping / Accommodation Host Fee to Rewildin for use of the Rewildin Platform. Rewildin will transfer the booking fee minus the Camping / Accommodation Host Fee to the Host approximately 24 hours after the Guest’s check-in.
- Workshop Host Fee: The Host agrees to pay a Workshop Host Fee to Rewildin for use of the Rewildin Platform. Rewildin will transfer the booking fee minus the Workshop Host Fee to the Host approximately 24 hours after the start of the workshop.
- Guest fees: The Guest agrees to pay the Guest Fee to Rewildin for use of the Rewildin Platform. Once the Host confirms the booking, the Guest will receive an email stating the total amount due. Payment in full is required within 24 hours of receiving this email before the booking slot becomes unlocked and accessible to other Guests.

Our connection is encoded with an SSL certificate. We securely store records of credit cards for future transactions.
GST and Taxes
Some Hosts will be registered for GST. In this case, the price entered by the Host must also include their own GST.
All Hosts are responsible for managing their own taxation obligations (including GST if applicable). Rewildin is unable to advise you about this responsibility and strongly suggests all Hosts consult a qualified taxation professional to ensure they understand exactly what is required of them.
Hosts may choose to adopt one of 4 cancellation policies, with their choice indicated on the listing page:
- Flexible: If the Guest cancels at least 24 hours before check-in time* the Guest will receive a full refund (minus the non-refundable Rewildin Guest fee).
Example: The booking check-in time is at 3pm, so the Guest needs to click on Cancellation button prior to 3pm on the day before.
- Moderate: If the Guest cancels at least 1 week before check-in time* the Guest will receive a full refund (minus the non-refundable Rewildin Guest fee).
Example: The booking check-in time is at 3pm on Saturday 20th, the Guest needs to click on Cancellation button prior to 3pm on Saturday 13th.
- Strict: If the Guest cancels less than 30 days before the booking check-in time* the Guest will receive a 50% refund (minus the non-refundable Rewildin Guest fee).
Example: The booking check-in time is at 3pm on Saturday 31th, the Guest needs to click on Cancellation button prior to 3pm on Saturday 1st.
- No refund: The Guest will not receive any refund if they cancel their booking. The entire booking fee is non-refundable.
*If the booking check-in time is not specified, it will be 3pm by default.
Rewildin may override these cancellations policies in rare extenuating circumstances. Rewildin may offer a full refund to the Guest regardless of the listing’s cancellation policy if we determine that extenuating circumstances have occurred.
Proof of these extenuating circumstances will be required before we can process a refund.
What are extenuating circumstances?
Death in the Guest’s family
Serious illness in the Guest’s family
Serious injury to a Guest that prevents travelling
Natural disaster in the destination location
Severe weather conditions in the destination location
Unexpected dangerous maintenance works and damages on the property
Political unsafe situation in the destination location
Cancellation by a Host
Cancelling a booking causes a lot of stress, waste of time and can ruin a Guest’s trip.
We strongly advise Hosts to be very careful and avoid cancellations wherever possible. The Hosts are entitled to inform Rewildin of the cancellation as soon as possible so that Rewildin can inform the Guest.
The Hosts are entitled to refund Rewildin the full amount paid by the guest (the booking amount plus the Rewildin fees) and Rewildin will refund the Guest that same amount.
Cancellation fees might be charged to Hosts in order to maintain harmony in the Rewildin community. Host Cancellation fees may be waived at Rewildin’s sole discretion if there are extenuating circumstances.
Resolving a Problem
In case of damage, loss or theft of the Host’s property, claims are to be made directly to Guests or other users of the Rewildin Platform responsible for the damage or theft. All users of the Rewildin Platform agree to indemnify Rewildin completely against any loss or damage suffered as a result of the user’s actions or negligence.
Guests are responsible for their own acts and must make direct payment to Hosts for the costs of repair or replacement. These costs and the payment method are to be negotiated between Hosts and Guests.
Hosts and Guests must behave with mutual respect, good faith and with total honesty.
If both sides cannot reach an agreement, Rewildin (or another neutral third party) can act as a mediator. Hosts can submit a claim for damage to the property caused by the Guest by emailing: [email protected]. This email may only be sent after the Host and the Guest have attempted to negotiate a solution between themselves.
Guests will be notified and will have 7 days to reply to the claim.
Both Guests and Hosts agree to be honest and cooperate with Rewildin’s investigation.
If Rewildin determines that Guests has damaged the property, Guests must pay the cost claimed by the Host to Rewildin, who will collect the claimed amount and redistribute it to the Host. The entire process will be document, agreed and signed.
Limitation of Liability
Under no circumstances will Rewildin be liable to Hosts or Guests for costs, loss or damage of any kind including legal fees arising out of your use of (or inability to use) the Rewildin Platform or your interaction with other users of the Rewildin Platform. If this clause is unenforceable for any reason, Rewildin’s total cumulative liability for all causes of action of any kind shall not exceed the amount you have paid to Rewildin in the three months prior to your notifying Rewildin of your claim. If you have not made any payments to Rewildin during this time, Rewildin’s total liability shall be limited to $50.
Uploads to Rewildin (including reviews)
Hosts must not publish information on the listing regarding any race, ethnicity, origin, disability, age, gender, marital status, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation or religion.
Hosts and Guests must not post on review any information, comments or opinion regarding any issues of race, ethnicity, origin, disability, age, gender, marital status, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation or religion.
You must not post or upload any content containing viruses, political advertising, commercial solicitation, mass mailings, or any form of spam.
You must not post or upload any content that is illegal, fraudulent, obscene, pornographic, offensive, threatening or defamatory.
After check-out, Guests will receive an email with an invitation to review their experience, Host, location. Reviews will be displayed at the bottom of each listing page and on the Host profile page.
Guests can review a previous experience at any time by going to ‘Reviews’ after logging in.
Hosts will also be able to review the Guest in a similar time frame. These reviews will be displayed in the Guest’s profile.
The Host will receive an email and notification on their dashboard when a Guest has left a review.
The Hosts and Guests cannot delete their reviews.
The Hosts and the Guests will have 48 hours to edit their review. For harmonious community interaction, we encourage all users of Rewildin to resolve conflict by communicating through Rewildin Messages, if this is unsuccessful by lodging a claim with us and not by leaving unpleasant reviews.
Both Guests and Hosts can contact Rewildin if a review is unfair or false, and we reserve the right to delete any review that does not meet the following guidelines.
- Reviews must be written by a Guest or Host about a personal experience during a specific experience or stay (no other unrelated subjects).
- Reviews must not contain reference to illegal, harmful, violent or criminal activities, or be insulting, profane, vulgar, threatening, defamatory, obscene or discriminatory.
- Reviews must not include commercial website addresses or phone numbers.
- False reviews in exchange for money, service or discounts are prohibited.
- Reviews that are produced under extortion are prohibited.
The content and branding of this website is protected by copyright. No portion of this website may be copied or replicated in any form without our written consent.

Third Party Content
Rewildin may publish links to third party websites from time to time. This information is provided for your education and entertainment. However, we have no responsibility for or control over the content of such websites and we do not necessarily endorse their products or the opinions that they express.
Rewildin uses third party systems (embedded Google Maps, Google Analytics). These services have their own terms and conditions. We encourage you to make your own enquiries if you have any concerns.
Jurisdiction & Dispute Resolution
Rewildin is located in New South Wales. This agreement is subject to the governing law of New South Wales.
If you have any issue or complaint arising out of your use of this website or these terms and conditions, you and Rewildin agree to make a genuine effort to resolve the dispute through negotiation and discussion.
Rewildin will act as independent facilitator in order to negotiate a win/win solution where there is conflict between Hosts and Guests. In the event of conflict between Hosts or Guests and Rewildin, we may ask for a third party to facilitate the resolution of the conflict.
If the parties to a dispute are unable to resolve it by negotiation and discussion within 14 days, they must proceed to mediation with the assistance of an accredited mediator who is independent of the parties.
The mediator is to be appointed by agreement of the parties or, failing agreement within twenty-one (21) days of the first notification of the dispute, by a person appointed by the Chair of Resolution Institute, (ACN 008 651 232, Level 2, 13-15 Bridge Street, Sydney NSW 2000; telephone: 02 9251 3366, email: [email protected]) or the Chair’s designated representative. The cost of the mediation is to be shared equally between the parties.
The Resolution Institute Mediation Rules shall apply to the mediation.
Litigation is to be considered a last resort and may not be commenced (except for interlocutory relief) until, in the opinion of the independent mediator, the potential for negotiation and mediation have been exhausted.
